The Youth Of Mulberry
Youth Sunday School
Youth grades 6-12 have a fully furnished, updated classroom complete with couches, pool table, fuse ball table, TV, and more. Sunday School is year round and taught by some of the “coolest” members of the church. The youth enjoy each other’s company as they learn more about how their faith impacts their lives.
Youth Group
During the school year, the youth group meets every other Sunday from 5:30–7:00 PM to play games, participate in service projects, have a devotional time, and EAT FOOD of course! In the past we’ve done a scavenger hunt, mystery trip, corn maze, snow tubing, white water tubing, car wash and bake sale fundraisers, and so much more. The summer conference at Montreat is a highlight every year as youth travel to Asheville to attend this popular retreat for a week. All youth are welcome!
Involvement at Mulberry
The youth are involved in a variety of areas in the life of Mulberry Church. They are often ushers, committee members, and even lead their own worship service every year. Our youth are not the future of the church, they are the church NOW.
